"Clowning Around" at the Hunter Valley Gardens
Throughout the October school holidays at Hunter Valley Gardens, children and families will get to experience the fun and laughter of being a clown with our ‘Clowning Around’ theme. We’ll be featuring many fun activities which will be educational, fun and inspiring.
Clown Circus Skill Workshop
Every morning between 11am – 1pm, children can come along and learn all sorts of clowning around skills, magic tricks and entertainment training. The highly experienced performers will get the kids up & active!
‘Clowning Around’ Show
At 2pm every afternoon a ½ hour madcap, high energy, upbeat show will be presented in the Amphitheatre where the kids can participate.
Face painting
Be enchanted by our face painting fairy who will be on site every day. Children will have the opportunity to select from a variety of designs.
Treasure Hunt
Children will be given the treasure hunt question sheet on entry and at their own pace can fill in the answers, learning lots of interesting and trivial details as they explore the many themed spaces at Hunter Valley Gardens. When completed, they can hand it into the staff in exchange for a special prize. This activity is a great way for the kids to be occupied while the parents enjoy looking at the gardens.
Ferris Wheel
Visitors will have the opportunity to view the gardens from a height like never before on the 16 metre Ferris Wheel.$2.00 per ride.
